Miso Cauliflower

A great side for Holidays or any time. Miso is great cause it is a fermented food. Adding fermented foods to your diet will really help your gut health.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cauliflower medium

In a mug or small bowl - mix sauce

  • 2 tbsp miso paste
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil or olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 thumb-size ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp tapioca flour or arrowroot flour (or cornstarch)
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp maple syrup or honey

After it is baked add

  • 3 green onions scallions - sliced

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven at 375oF (190oC).
  • Cut cauliflower florets - the smaller the faster it will bake.
  • Whisk sauce ingredients together.
  • Toss cauliflower in the sauce.
  • Bake in oven for 40 min, then on broil for 1-2 minutes with no lid - watch the cauliflower on broil.
  • OR air fry for 10 min, shake half way.
