- 1 cup raw soaked cashews soak at least 4-12 hours with cold water, OR soak in boiled water from kettle for 30 minutes.
- 1/2 tbsp nutritional yeast - heaping spoon
- 1/2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp water add small amounts more if needed.
- 1 clove garlic - minced 1-2 gloves depending on how much garlic you love!
- 1/2 tsp oregano, salt, thyme each OR dill, salt
- 1 tbsp plain yogurt (optional) use water if vegan
Optional ingredient and fermentation option
- 1/16 tsp probiotic powder (~40-50 billion active cells) or 1 probiotic capsule opened. OPTIONAL if doing this - add on fermentation of 12 to 24 hours of ball in a warm location. Then put in fridge.
MIX the Ingredients above in a food processor.
If adding probiotic powder - then add step of fermentation of ball - line container with cheesecloth, cloth or parchment paper not sealed. Roll into log or ball or heart.
After fermentation - roll in crushed pistachios and cranberries or pomegranates. ENJOY!
