Preheat oven at 350oF (180oC)
- 1/3 cup almond butter
- 1 egg or flax egg for vegan
- 2 cups almond flour
- 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp salt Optional - if you like salt! You could use 1 tsp if you really like salt! In mix and pinch of salt sprinkled on top.
Mix. Roll dough into small balls place on parchment paper, then wet a fork and press down
Optional - to sprinkle salt flakes or salt - but be careful. That's why I gave the option above of adding salt directly in the cookie!
Bake for 10-12 min at 350oF (180oC)
CHOCOLATE
- 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips I like Enjoy Life brand
Use a double boil method or microwave for 1 min - and stir. Use a spoon or knife to put chocolate on one half like dipped or lines. See pics.
