Many people will have fresh herbs growing in their gardens this summer. You can use any herbs you have with this mix such as cilantro or basil, typically we use Italian Parsley.

The Parsley Garlic Sauce is a combination that makes it a great immune booster. Parsley is loaded with Vitamin C, K and beta carotene that can help boost and support the immune system. Garlic improves your immune system by fighting infections including bacteria, virus, yeasts and fungi. Helping to increase our immune system everyday, especially during a pandemic is helpful. This combination only gets better when you realize that Parsley can prevent garlic breath! What a great pairing!

Parsley Garlic Sauce (Spread)

Helping to increase our immune system everyday, especially during a pandemic is helpful. Parsley Garlic Sauce is a fast and easy way to create a nutrient dense spread that your family will enjoy on toast with breakfast, on sandwiches, mixed into a salad dressing, roasted with meat or vegetables, added to create a dip sauce like yoghurt or on vegetables and meat as a fresh sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups parsley Can use Cilantro or basil, from your garden or store.
  • 1/4 or 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 to 1 to 2 cloves garlic Depending on your garlic and your taste!
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper

Instructions
 

  • Chop Parsley or other herbs.
  • Add all ingredients to Blendtec Twister or Nutribullet, or blender. Blend. Enjoy!
