Baked Stuffed Zucchini Flowers with goat cheese
Have you ever ate a stuffed Zucchini Flower?
Baked Stuffed Zucchini Flowers with goat cheese is so good. These flowers are huge and can be stuffed with many things! I had only three from our venture to Black Bridge Orchard. You pick the male flowers cause they don’t produce the zucchini vegetable. How do you tell? The male flower has a long stem then flower. If you have zucchini plants, the best time to pick is in the morning when they are wide open. I was at the orchard when the flowers were slightly closed, so not as easy but still doable.
Then we stopped by Western Culture for fresh goat chevre (goat cheese), I so love buying cheese here, it is a small boutique goat farm, they were milking the goats when I was there, and the lovely lady who makes the cheese with so much love sold me the cheese. We bought several additional cheeses including brine feta, Fleur Vente (with pink peppercorns & tarragon) and lemon thyme cheese (picture in gallery below). I have also had their herbs de provence cheese – soooo delicious. If you are ever in Panoia – please go visit.
Let’s get started – I hope this inspires you to get your zucchini flowers.
