Baked Green Bean Casserole
Ingredients
Fry sliced red onions and mushrooms
- 1 red onion
- 1 large portabella mushroom or other mushrooms – sliced
Boil Green beans for 2 min then place in ice water bath
- 1 lb green beans slice off ends
In casserole dish place beans, then fried red onions and mushrooms. Then add toppings.
Toppings
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese or vegan parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven at 350oF (180oC).
- Fry sliced red onions and mushrooms.
- Cut ends of green beans. Start boiling water. Blanch: Add beans for 2 minutes then place in ice water bath.
- In casserole dish place onions and mushrooms then green beans.
- Add Toppings : slice almonds, almond flour and parmesan cheese.
- Then broil for 2 minutes. Watch. Then cover and keep warm at 200oF (90C)
