Eating on the GO!
Eating on the go! or in a rush is common in today’s go-go world. Maybe the pandemic has slowed your world a bit, you will still find those times you need nutrient dense foods in a hurry.
Some ideas for nutrient dense foods that are easy to grab and eat on the go include:
- Raw nuts, you could include fruit. The nuts will stabilize sugar from the fruit.
- Boiled eggs
- Veggies or nut crackers and hummus or yoghurt with herb dip
- Leftovers
- Roasted chicken from the grocery store
- Olives
- Dark Chocolate (good quality like 75%)
These are simple and healthy choices when grabbing food from home when you are on the go. These are top choices if you are stopping by a grocery store or convenient store for a quick snack.
Please note that when you are eating on the go, or rushed; your digestion does not work as well. Try to take a few slow breaths before eating to help digestion. You want to move from Sympathetic (fight and flights) to Parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous system for better digestion.

In February, I am starting a group course that is specific on better, healthier food choices called Healthy Eating Life! Creating Conscious Habits – hope you can join me. There will be on demand videos and at least three zoom group classes to cook together and review breakfast, snacks and quick meals.
