Baked Brie – two ways!
Festive with Cookie Cutter Shape or super simple?
Here is Baked Brie – two ways both easy – one is festive and the other is simple. I love brie, but really I love baked brie, its sooooo much better to me then unbaked. So this is a staple in our household when the holiday season, or really winter season comes along.
Two ways:
- Festive – simply cut brie half ways through the middle – so you end up with two circles. Take your favorite holiday cookie cutter. Push it through one half. Add fig or other jam to the whole circle put into your bakeware then sprinkle with nuts. Out the other half ontop assembled. With the star or other symbol cut out, add nuts and pour maple syrup on the hole. BAKE.
- Put your brie in your bakeware, add nuts, dried cranberries or fresh pomegranates, then pour some maple syrup over. BAKE.

Best to make just before event. Store in Fridge if needed prepared then BAKE right before event.

How to make this Baked Brie – two ways fool proof?
I baked it a little long when I did my star cut out! So just keep an eye on it when baking. So watch it near the end. At 15-20 min watch it – you want it gooey but able to see the cut out!
Method 2 – with no cut outs, don’t need to be as concerned when baking. Still watch it!

For Both recipes:
- 1 brie cheese circle
- pecans or other nuts
- maple syrup
For Method 1 – add
- fig jam or other jam
For Method 2 – add
